Course Reserves: Course reserves policies

Our course reserves service provides DePaul University students with no-cost access to course materials including textbooks and other required materials per requests submitted by instructors through our course reserves system.

We prioritize the purchase of e-book and streaming media formats to provide the greatest and most widely-accessible use possible. Print books, DVDs, and CD/LPs will be purchased only if an e-book or streaming option does not exist or is beyond a reasonable cost.

We will make every effort to acquire access to content within our budget, but cannot guarantee we will be able to purchase all materials for a course.

Processing times for materials vary so add items to your course reserves list by the following dates to ensure they are ready at the beginning of the quarter. We will process items in the order they are received.
