Course Reserves: Check Notifications: Library Discussion and Tags

The DePaul University Library has migrated its course reserves system from ARES to Leganto. Use this guide to set up your course reserves.

Notifications

To access your notifications, including new library tags and discussion comments, click on the bell. 

Library Tags

The library uses tags for items to communicate about the availability and format of items in their list. Here are the tags you may see on your items:

  • No online access; Physical item on reserve
  • No online access; Physical item on order (allow 2-4 weeks)
  • Limited user online access; Physical item on reserve
  • Limited user online access; Physical item on order (allow 2-4 weeks)
  • Unable to acquire online access or physical item; Item not available
  • Attempting to acquire streaming (allow 2 to 6 weeks)
  • Unable to acquire library access; Linked to open access web version
  • Library does not subscribe to this journal; delete and upload PDF if available
  • Unable to verify citation. Please provide additional information
  • Questions about this item; Please see library discussion

Library Discussion

You can contact the library directly through Leganto using Library Discussion. To message the library about an item, click on the Full Details of the item.

  1. Click See Full Details on the item to open it and select Library Discussion.
  2. Type your message and click Send.
