The DePaul University Library offers a full complement of delivery services for e-reserve and print reserve materials. Login to the Ares Course Reserves System with your Campus Connect to activate courses for reserves and request items. We have created a How to Get Started Using Course Reserves Guide. We'll pull, order, scan, or review copyright permissions as needed for the materials.
Material that is immediately accessible (i.e. owned by DePaul and not checked out) is usually available to students in 3 business days. If we need to order the material or recall it from a patron, it could take 2 weeks or more. Please be aware that there is a bottleneck of requests in the first week of classes each quarter; therefore, please submit first-week requests 30 days before the start of the quarter.
If you have any questions, please contact the Course Reserves Contact for your academic unit.
DePaul University Library also coordinate the digitization of CDs or DVDs and the purchase of licenses to access streaming content for online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses. To request an item be digitized or licensed, login to Ares Course Reserves System, select your course, and choose the Streaming format from the available request options. Please be advised that it can take up to four weeks for material to be ordered and digitized if the library does not own a copy.
If you have any questions, please contact the Course Reserves Contact for your academic unit.
