- Review the article title and author(s) [1], as well as other key citation details [2] including the source journal or publication, date, and unique digital object identifier (DOI) [3]
- The Cited by [4] panel lets you see which other documents in Scopus cite this one, allowing you to trace its contributions to the scholarly conversation
- Scopus does not include the full-text of articles. Review the Full text options [5] to find a direct link to the document at the publishers' website. If the article is paywalled at the publisher, use the Find an Item tool in LibrarySearch to get access through the library website (in most cases, searching for the DOI is enough).
- Learn more about the article by reviewing the Abstract [6] and various keywords [8] associated with the article
- Follow the breadcrumb trail: check out the Related documents [7] panel to find more documents in Scopus that cite similar references or share authors and keywords
- Scopus includes a list of References [9] cited in the document. Cited documents do not have to be indexed in Scopus to appear on this list
