If you are looking for LGBTQ data, please be aware that the federal government does not collect that data as of 2017. Any data that you may find is self-reported and the statistics will vary. There is currently a LGBTQ Data Inclusion Act that has been introduced into Congress. If that act is passed, LGBTQ data will begin to be collected. The two resources listed below can give you a starting point to start to explore LGBTQ demographics.
