The books selected for the exhibition are on loan from DePaul University Special Collections and Archives, housed in the John T. Richardson Library. Special Collections and Archives collects, preserves, and shares rich primary source materials in support of engaged teaching, active student learning, and scholarly and community research. The collection consists of a variety of materials including rare books and maps, artist books and archival materials of organizations. Collection strengths include book arts, 18th and 19th century literature, Irish Studies, the Napoleonic Era, historical maps, Vincentian heritage, Chicago and Lincoln Park history, social justice and the Catholic left, and women's and community advocacy organizations.
