- Make friends with your Librarian or Information Specialist
- Ask for a Tour of the Library
- Find print materials available to you - One Good Treatise (Smart Researchers Save Time by Starting with Legal Treatises by (Shawn G. Nevers) - may need to sign in w/Campus Connect ID & PW
- Find out which online materials are part of Overhead (i.e., already paid for by firm/office)
- Ask if there is an Intranet and/or a Wiki
- If so - how do you access it?
- What is contained within it?
- Ask if there is a Document Management System* (or a Work Product Retrieval Database)?
*A Document Management System is an in-house database of work already performed (i.e., model)
- Make appts with your Westlaw, Lexis+ and Bloomberg Law representatives
- When searching - create your search before logging in (to any fee-based databases)
