A Note from Your Librarian

Hi class,

My name is Kelly and I'll be your librarian for PSC 343: International Political Economy of the Pacific Rim/AAS 342 Asian Political Economy. I'll be providing feedback on your annotated bibliographies and helping you with your research. If you have any questions or need help finding sources, don't hesitate to send me an email or schedule an appointment for a research consultation (using the Schedule Appointment button to the right).

This guide is meant to be a starting point for finding quality sources for your assignment. It is by no means exhaustive, but it but it will help get you oriented to all of the information out there. Use the navigation tabs to find what you need.

  • Find Articles: Recommended article databases by subject, select political economy studies journals, plus information on how to tell if a source is scholarly.
  • Find Books: Tools for searching for books and e-books, plus a few selected titles related to the class material.
  • Find Gov News, Blogs, & Data: Find newspaper articles, data and statistics, and government information from Asia and the Pacific Rim.
  • Find Background Info & More: Find background sources, multimedia, and additional research tools.

Good luck with your research!
