A Note from Your Librarian

Hi class,

My name is Sveta and I'll be your librarian for LSP 112: Capitalism and Democracy. I'll be providing feedback on your annotated bibliographies and helping you with your research. If you have any questions or need help finding sources, don't hesitate to send me an email or schedule an appointment for a research consultation.

This guide is meant to be a starting point for finding quality sources for your assignment. It is by no means exhaustive, but it but it will help get you oriented to all of the information out there. Use the navigation tabs to find what you need.

  • Find Articles: Recommended article databases by subject, plus information on how to tell if a source is scholarly.
  • Find Books: Search for books and e-books, plus access to some of the course texts (beyond the assigned excerpts).
  • Find Current Events & Data: Find newspaper articles and statistics.
  • Other Resources: Find background sources, primary sources, and more.

Good luck with your research!
