LGBTQ Studies Research Guide: DePaul & Chicagoland

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Queer, Asexual and Ally (LGBTQA) Student Resource Center at DePaul University exists to promote, foster and support a campus environment that is inclusive of people from all sexualities and gender identities.

Center on Halsted advances community and secures the health and well-being of the LGBTQ people of Chicagoland. The Resource Directory lists a broad array of community resources available in Chicagoland and beyond.

Brave Space Alliance is the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ+ Center located on the South Side of Chicago, dedicated to creating and providing affirming, culturally competent, for-us by-us resources, programming, and services for LGBTQ+ individuals on the South and West sides of the city.

Be Yourself. Make Friends. Get Connected to Resources. Serving LGBTQ+ youth ages 12-24, BYC provides basic needs assistance, resource advocacy, mental wellness supports, and education/vocational services.

In conjunction with LGBTQA Student Services, the DePaul Study Abroad Program has compiled information regarding the selection of study abroad programs, questions to ask, and additional resources including on-campus, off-campus, and financial considerations.
