What is Ares Course Reserves
The Automated Reserves System, Ares Course Reserves, manages course reserves including electronic and physical reserves. Ares Course Reserves is a single point access for instructors and students for online reserve services which can include articles from journals or periodicals or book chapters.
When logging in for the first time, you will need to click the Submit Registration button to activate your account and start using Ares. You will only need to do this the first time you login to Ares Course Reserves.
Students can login to Ares Course Reserves using their Campus Connect login information. After logging in you will see a page listing any course you are registered for that has materials available in course reserves. If you do not see a course listed, contact your instructor to see if your course has materials available in Ares.
You can open any reserve item by following these steps:
- From the Main Menu - Select a course and click on it.
- From the next Page you will see a list of reserve items for that course. Clicking on an item will take you to a second page where you can view the item if it is an electronic reserve item, or for physical items you will see the location of the reserve.
