Law Study Aids

What's In this Guide

This research guide is a selected list of the most current and popular study aids and examination preparation resources available for DePaul law students through the three study aid databases that the Rinn Law Library subscribes to.

A "study aid" is the general term for a subset of legal resources designed to help new and returning law students master specific areas of law  such as civil procedure,  constitutional law,  contracts, criminal law, property and torts.  Several study aids available inside the Law Library on the 6th floor outside the Rarebook room  are commercially published print resources such as "hornbooks,"  "nutshells" and  canned outlines or checklists, many of these resources are also available online via 3 different database publishers (Database List) Interactive Computer Asisted Legal Instruction (CALI) exercises, podcasts,  and other online resources are also available via cali.org.   Selected archived law school exams are available electronically via the Westlaw product TWEN.
