University Library DePaul Library

How do I access course materials on reserve for my class?

Students can access our course reserves using their Campus Connect credentials for any course in which they are currently enrolled from our Course Reserves site.

You can also access Course Reserves from the Library website: library.depaul.edu ➡️ Services ➡️ Course Reserves. Your instructor may have added a link to course materials to the D2L page for your course.

All course reserve materials for spring and summer quarters will be electronic only. Print textbooks on reserve are not accessible while the Library is closed.

My course this quarter has a print book on reserve. How can I access it when the library is closed?

All course reserves will be provided via e-resources and electronic delivery methods for fall quarter.  Physical reserves have short check-out periods and high turnaround which is not conducive to quarantine between uses. Books cannot be quickly sanitized without risk of damage at this time. No physical materials will be placed on reserve for the fall quarter. However, the Library will purchase unlimited or multi-user e-books whenever possible so please reach out to your professor if they have not placed any items on reserve for your class.

Alternatively, you could also check the DePaul bookstore, or even directly with the publisher of the textbook to look into other options.
