About the Scholar's Lab

A service of the new Richardson Library Information Commons, the Scholar's Lab is a specialized computing space designed to promote collaboration and experimentation with digital content and services across academic disciplines.

The Scholar's Lab supports advanced DePaul student and faculty research through high powered, flexible, computing devices, equipment, and software, open lab hours that include nights and weekends throughout the academic year, informal and formal events, and opportunities for collaborative research, project design, and teaching.

The Scholar's Lab is available for use as an open lab, informal or formal meeting and workshop space by the following members of the DePaul Community:

  • Faculty
  • Students
  • Staff

Visit the Scholar's Lab any time the Richardson Library is open or contact Associate University Librarian for Information Technology & Discovery Services Megan Bernal for more information on scheduling an event in the lab or developing new programs and services with us.

Unless reserved for a special event or seminar, the Scholar's Lab is open the same hours as the Richardson Library.
